To use the dialer, administrators will need to assign phone numbers to their team.
There are two options:
- Add personal numbers to Insightly Voice.
- Get a phone number right from Insightly.
Verifying your own number
Your agents can use their own personal phone numbers with Voice.
- Click System Settings > Voice.
- Click Verify Phone Number.
- Enter the number you want to verify. You must include +1. Add a Friendly Name (for example, the agent who will use the number). Click Verify Number.
- A validation code will appear on the screen. The phone associated with the phone number will ring and will prompt you to enter your validation code.
Obtaining a number from Insightly
Administrators can also acquire a phone number from Insightly.
- Click System Settings > Voice.
- Click Add Phone Number.
- Select your country.
- Select to search by Area Code or Number to find available numbers.
- Fill out the text box and click search. A list of numbers available for purchase will appear. Select the number you wish the purchase.
- Click Add Selected Numbers.
