Using an Insightly Voice phone number

To use the dialer, administrators will need to assign phone numbers to their team.

There are two options:

  1. Add personal numbers to Insightly Voice. 
  2. Get a phone number right from Insightly.

Verifying your own number

Your agents can use their own personal phone numbers with Voice.

  1. Click System Settings > Voice.

  2. Click Verify Phone Number.

  3. Enter the number you want to verify. You must include +1. Add a Friendly Name (for example, the agent who will use the number). Click Verify Number.

  4. A validation code will appear on the screen. The phone associated with the phone number will ring and will prompt you to enter your validation code.

Obtaining a number from Insightly

Administrators can also acquire a phone number from Insightly.

    1. Click System Settings > Voice.

    2. Click Add Phone Number.

    3. Select your country.

    4. Select to search by Area Code or Number to find available numbers.

    5. Fill out the text box and click search. A list of numbers available for purchase will appear. Select the number you wish the purchase.
