Export not working

Exporting of Organizations and/or Contacts is not working for me.  I've tried multiple times and also had another user try as well.  I've added exports@insightly.com, @insightly.com and @insight.ly to my approved list.  

I see the pop-up notice that the export will be emailed but doesn't show up in any folder. 

Signup and password reset emails have always come through fine.  Thanks

  • Michael, I've experienced the same issues that you described when trying to export from the Contacts or Organizations tab. However, I've found that exporting the same information from the Reports tab reliably works very well. Perhaps a temporary solution to the problem?

  • Hello. When will this be fixed? I just upgraded to the paid Basic plan for my org and am frustrated that the export organizations function is still not working. Exporting from the Reports tab doesn't appear to be working either.

    We were having some issues with our export system earlier in the day which have since been corrected.  Could you try exporting your records again?

  • Same issue here today. The scheduled report came this morning as usual but when I try to export another report I just modified it does not work. Been waiting 30 minutes and reports still not in my mailbox. I tried CSV and Excel exports. Same problem. The pop-up tells me all is good and that I will receive my report shorthly.

  • Hi Luc,

    There can occasionally be delays in the receipt of exports.  When you export your records, they enter a queue for all exports leaving Insightly.  Depending on the volume at the time, you can get an exported file immediately or, in extreme cases, up to an hour later.

    With that said, you should still eventually receive the export.  Did you get yours yesterday?  If not, there may be a different issue at play for your account.

  • Hi Dan, Thanks for the answer. However this is on us this time. We had issues with our emails. I just tried again and it didn't even take 5 seconds for the report to come in my mailbox. Sorry for the confusion and for wasting your time.

  • Hi there, I'm having the same issue where none of my insightly contact exports are working. It's been over an hour and I haven't received any csv files emailed to me. Are there any new issues that might be causing this? Thanks for your help!

  • Hi Akropolis, check if you have any problems receiving outside emails in general. Send yourself a message from an external email or ask someone to do it. Last time this happened to me it was an email problem from our end and not a problem with Insightly.
