"Save Failed" on any new contact entry in iPhone app

Can't make any new contact entry, not even one field. Have latest version of everything on 6s+

Anyone got any clues?

    Which version of IOS and the Insightly App are you currently on? Insightly's latest version is 3.17. Also, are you using a wireless internet connection by any chance? Sometimes there can be a hiccup in the connection and the data won't save.

  • Latest versions of insightly and iOS on recent model phone, as mentioned. Was also doing it before app update yesterday. 

    A bit of a UX killer if you cannot enter even basic details of new contacts on the fly!

    We attempted to replicate the behavior you're describing but were successful in adding records. Screenshots or better yet a recording of your process and results would be helpful for us to see what you are seeing on your phone. Please include screenshots of the Insightly version and your iOS version too, thank you in advance.

  • Same here, whenever I try to update a Task description, it says Save Failed.  This happens with many other functions on the app for Android,  I've heard from other team members that it happens on IOS too.

    Are you able to grab and provide a screenshot showing this "Failed" message? If you can also provide your exact steps I can attempt to replicate this on my end.

  • Hi,

    Here are the steps.

    1. Open Insightly app on Pixel 3
    2. Search for "Concordia" Opportunity, select New Seasons - Concordia
    3. Go to Activities tab
    4. Find first non completed task and click Edit
    5. Find Description field, enter text "6/4 this is a test" in text field.
    6. Click save
    7. Error message comes every time (see attached screen shot)
