Recent Changes

I noticed that there has been some changes to the interface. Which by the way I do not agree with. Recent Items show that last contacts that I made changes to. Why did anyone on your engineering team think it was a good idea to alter it the way it was before. Now I'm having to deal with getting used to the new look.

    We did make an update; but it was only Leads. You'll be able to see all fields under Leads now.

  • I'd like to register strong disapproval of the changes made to Contacts fields. I know that changes will always upset someone, but these were announced without warning rather than consulted on among the wider users - it has the feel of an amateur development team who will change in response to forum posts. It worries me for the future.

    Meanwhile my request to enable switching off of automated contact creation from emails (which would affect no-one except those who choose to switch it off) has been ignored, despite it being a major problem to some (paying) users.

    Things like this are irritating. We love Insightly 90% of the time but I have started to look at Salesforce as it seems the user is more in control of its structure.

  • I am working on a major database cleanup for my client.  I am reviewing each record, and I am currently working on Organizations.

    I'm not sure if this is related to the changes but here's what I am finding:

    1)  There is only one field for "phone."  No more cell, fax...

    2)   Business addresses are now in "shipping."  First address is now "billing" and it is blank.

    This is really messing up our data integrity.  What is going on?
