Is there a limit to the number of characters that can be entered when creating a note either organisation or contact, in both the body and comment section, please.

That's a great question! Currently the character limit for Notes (both the Body and Contact) is 4,000 characters.
I believe this may be inaccurate now? I can no longer add notes to opportunities once they've passed a certain character length. This is actually extremely frustrating, because not only can add info to the notes I use every day, but I can't make any changes at all without adhering to the new character length maximum.
Can someone help?
I was able to add notes as long as I wanted before this recent update. Now I'm limited to 4k characters and I am NOT happy.
This new character limit is also affecting us in a big way, 4000 characters is not very big and prevents us from using Notes as we have done for years with Insightly. We are now having to create extra notes for all of our clients each time we update which is extremely inefficient.
There are several topics ideas/ suggestions on this particular topic. It seems that this 4,000 character limit is only recently been enforced and is causing issues for a number of users.
I also agree, this recent change is causing a bunch of problems for my firm.

If you like to see the character limit increase please post your request to our Ideas & Suggestions page. Your fellow Insightly users can vote and comment on the idea, too. In general, the more activity a request receives, the more likely it is to be considered for implementation.
