Issue under "Add New Link"

Hello support,

 

I recently found out that when I tried to link the contacts under "Add New Link", majority of the contacts that I created it the past could not be search, I confirmed the contacts that I wanted to link together does exist under contact page, however when it does not show under "Add New Link" search. Can you please kindly look into it? Thank you.

  • I am still seeing this issue when trying to link leads to opportunities. Your help documents mention this doable:

    "In the Add New Link field, begin typing the name of the record you'd like to link to and click a name from the matches that appear below your entry. You can link to contacts, organizations, opportunities, projects, and leads."

  • Hi Esteban:

    Leads are a little different from the other record types in Insightly and they do not have the option to be linked manually as mentioned in the article in our Knowledge Base. Since Leads are candidates for you business and you have yet to be verified as a fit for your business the information is very basic. Once you convert your Lead, an Opportunity record will be created and the links between records will be automatic.

     Regarding this same issue, I can't find that it had been fixed yet...I'm not able to link my emails to correct CONTACTS!! And, it's been taking you for several months! Your help and support is very much appreciated.

     In addition, isn't there any chance to link my emails to my Organizations or Opportunities directly?? I don't want to link them to a contact :(

  • Hi Abdallah,

    Emails can be linked to Organizations and Opportunities

    from the email tab click the box next to the email> select the link icon> type in the name of the record that you'd like to link the email to.

    I'm also going to open a ticket on your behalf so that we can look further into you not being able to link emails to correct contacts.
