LinkedIn Contact Import

Hi,

I have uploaded my LinkedIn contacts csv in the past, however, I have recently had more contacts added to my LinkedIn. Is there a way to upload only the new contacts I have recently added on LinkedIn and not the old ones that are already on Insightly?

The reason I am reaching out to ask is because I noticed that on the LinkedIn csv, there is no date/time column that indicated when the new LinkedIn contacts were added to my contact list.

  • Hi Robert,

You import all the files. If a Contact is a duplicate with no changes to it, the record will be skipped. You can read more about this under Duplicate check when Importing.

  • Hi Nora, thanks for your reply. I have done this in the past, however some of the contacts still get imported even though it is a duplicate of an already existing contact. Is there any other way to do this by any chance?

  • Hi Robert,

If your file has any new information such as a phone number for a record that previously didn't have one our system will consider it a new record and detect it as a duplicate record.

  • Hi Robert,

You can sync Linkedin Contacts with your email client, then use PieSync to sync your contacts from your email client to Insightly.

This way you will have the current contacts and added to Insightly automatically.

    Thank you,

    Micah

  • hey guys, we have recently made a nice integration between Insightly and LinkedIn, you can check it out here.

    https://linkmatch.net/insightly/

LinkMatch allows you to match, save and update LinkedIn profiles to your Insightly.

Would love to hear what you think about it!
