Not able to add notes under organizations on Mobile (Android)

Newer Android, have always been able to add in notes on my mobile up until yesterday. It will let me edit the title of the note, but will not allow me to add any content to the body.  This is how my team operates in the field and I have had no trouble in the past. Have deleted and reinstalled app, turned phone on and off, etc. Can anyone help?

    Just need a little more information from you. Can you check the following for us:

    First, please make sure you are using the most current version of Insightly.

    1) The make and model of your device.

    2) The Android version. To find the version of your Android OS, go to Settings > About Phone/About Tablet > Android Version.

  • I too now have this same problem. Using the latest version of the app and a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with Android 7.0.

  • Same here I cannot leave notes in the mobile app anymore. Newest update of insightly. Note 8 Newest android version.
    M work is all about these notes. Please let me know the solution when ones comes. Thank you!

    After posting this initial complaint nearly a month ago, my lead sales team member is STILL unable to access his notes function from his mobile device, and this was our busiest time of year.  This is the number one function we use with Insightly so we can record accurate data while actively in the field.  As a customer, I am extremely frustrated that it has taken this long, I am unable to discuss with someone via telephone, and the only update I have received is that someone is "looking into it." Please let me know actively if there is anything we can do and what next steps are to restore this functionality.

  • Same issue in Contacts.  Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, Android V 7.0 

    This is a big deal.  Should be a core feature of the mobile app.  Causing a lot of heartburn with my sales team.

    As a new Insightly user I get worried when I see issues like these. I'll be keeping a close eye on the speed of resolution.

    We still have a couple that haven't been able to get it to work. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling Insightly.

    Are you using the most recent version of the Insightly Mobile App by chance?

    You can check this by navigating to the Play Store and searching for App Updates.

  • Hi,

    I am new to Insightly and am not able to edit notes on my Android app as I keep getting an error message telling me to correct the errors before saving. I don't know what the errors are, I am only adding text. I googled the issue and found this thread, which is a few months old but the issues seem very similar. I have un/re-installed the app and am still having the issues. I am using a Samsung Galaxy J3, Android version version 7.0. Is there still an/another issue with this or is there something else I can try to resolve this or are notes not editable? Can I only add a new one?

    Can you provide me with the exact steps you are taking when editing a note and also provide a screenshot of the error message you received? This will help me try and replicate the issue on my end and provide a solution for you.
