E-mails, auto save, organisations like gmx and notifications

If you save a e-mail it should not always create a new organisation, like .hotmail.com or save it in your own company, this creats a lot of spam in insightly. You should be able to disable this function.

If replied e-emails would be automaticly save in the same assigned project, this would be great.

I don't want to get a notification, when I complet a task by myself. Notification feature could be better.

  • I very strongly agree. The auto creation of contacts and ridiculous 'organisations' from the bit after the @ symbol is a real show stopper for us and may even cause us to leave Insightly. I currently have to delete them manually and this is getting to be too much.

    I raised a support request about this some time ago but was told I could not switch it off. 

    There is the very serious risk of breaking the UK/EU electronic communications legislation by mailing without permission. We also promise to maintain a positive 'do not mail' list, but we can't stop Insighly adding random 'contacts' of it own accord.
