24 hour time frame

Is it possible to have a 24 hour time frame instead of your current 12 hour? Would be a great feature.

  • Just a comment to add my vote (have also clicked the heart at the top, if that's what you mean by voting) for 24-hour clock. Easier to use and less likelihood of mistakes.  Thank You :-)

  • Adding my vote: this is a must have. difficult to believe that it even needs to be a voted upon feature request for a CRM that pitches itself for project management!

    All I keep reading is; "don't forget to add your vote at the top if you haven't already, thank you for sharing your support and feedback for this feature request."

    Sorry, but in my opinion any software without the 24h-format is totally prehistoric and will not work in Europe besides the UK. Nobody uses AM & PM. Please tell me how many votes are needed before this gets implemented?

  • Its not about how many votes are needed but how much they want to focus on it right now... I think that in needs a lot of changes in their code to implement this and they always suspend it. :(

  • This is actual a reason not to licence Insightly for us.

    International and cultural difference seem to be undervalued in the Product Roadmap and this is a core characteristic of CRM. it makes you look like a small US company focussed business.

    The cultural dilemma in weighting decisions: There is no need for a US customer to upvote this and there is no need to purchase a licence to become a customer to upvote for us other ones.

  • One has to wonder why this is ignored? It is true what Timo says, it is a reason not to licence and yes, it makes Insightly look like a small US company focused business. At least they could tell us if they plan to integrate this feature?

    International date and time formats are a must.

  • I was very surprised that this functionality isn't already in place when first trialing Insightly. Surely this is one of those basic "must-haves".

    After fiddling around for a while I realised it wasn't something I was doing wrong, it's just that 24 hour time format isn't accepted.

    My reaction, "Huh?".

    Still love Insightly regardless, though. :o)

  • Amazing, that after 2 years Insightly still has not implemented a 24 hour format. Are they not interested in business from Europe? Apart from the UK, people do not really know the difference between AM & PM and it is just unworkable.

    When will this be implemented?

  • Will add from us also that we really want this option implemented. We are planning going live with 100 users in a month, and the am/pm thing just baffles our users and annoys them already. We did not catch it in our initial testing, put now in pilot we definately have!

    A very easy quick fix would be to at least allow for 24h clock input in time fields, so that e.g. 14:00 is corrected to 2 pm, until you have it all fixed, but of course full 24h support is really the only way to go for a global, modern CRM these days!

  • Get my vote absolutely. 24 h format is needed. Although it comes too late for me. I stopped using Insightly and moved to another web based CRM system apprx. a year ago. Just because of this feature lacking from here

    Je trouve ABERRANT que depuis 2015 cette option ne soit pas encore possible sur insightly.

  • Actualy there are surely more who want to use the 24h time frame. And it shoudn't be that hard to fix.

    I am a bit disappointed, that we still need to review this post and talk about a necessity.

  • I recommend that you start looking for another CRM system as I did. And really satisfied what I could find as substitute. If this is the way they ignore features that are essential, the same attitude will follow in other needs as well.

    I am really disappointed in Insightly.
