What does Insightly Consider a record?
Event (Insightly created, not google or outlook created)
Super helpful. Thanks Zachary!
We are trying to upload ~ 13.5K contacts to Insightly. Our plan states that 25k records are available.
When I try to upload, I get the message that it exceeds my record limit.
Each contact has very basic information (First name, last name, address phone etc.)
Does anybody have any idea or will we need to update our plan?
Hi there Eric:
Each plan type does have a limit to the number of rows that can be imported on each file.
Since you have a 25,000 record storage limit it sounds like you're on the Basic plan. Basic plan users can upload up to 5,000 rows per file. You will just need to break your file down into smaller chunks. Once that's done you should be all set!
Our pricing page has a side by side comparison of our plans and their limits.
Hi, how are you? I would like to know if you delete a task from a project (the project was completed OK, so some tasks are no longer neccesary) this deleted task adds one record back to the limit, or the limit just gets growing?
The same goes to Leads, when we delete a Lead we can add another in replacement not using the limit ?
If you delete a Record, your storage limitations change allowing you room to add additional records.
I have already reached 30% of our records out of 100K. How can I get a detail report of what all these records are? We would like to able to manage this. What is the best way to do this?
You can review your counts at the bottom of each section. Just make sure you filter to view all records.
I am having the same problem that Eric had last year. I have 16K contacts to import, which I have broken up into 4 files of less than 5K names each. After importing the 3rd file (total count 13.5K), I got the message that I'm over my limit. I don't understand this. Also have just basic information and no attachments.
Sorry that you're running into an error. It looks like you're over your plan's record limit, hence why you're receiving that error. It also looks like you have a ticket open with our Support team since you're on a paid plan. If you have additional questions, I'll leave it to our Support team member to continue helping you. :)
