Mass Email Stats

We are big fans of the new mass email function. One stat says emails delivered vs sent. How do we find out which ones have NOT been delivered (so we can clean our CRM data)?

  • Hi dan,

So glad you like the new email template feature. Right now, there's no way to find out which emails were not delivered. Product is aware of this and we'll update you if anything changes. Thanks!

  • Hi is there a way of knowing what emails were opened and by who?

  • @Stephen- There isn't a way on knowing who has opened an email; but there is a way of seeing Statistics of the email. By going to Emails > Email Template > click the Template you sent > View Template Statistics.

You will have the ability to see how many emails were delivered and how many were opened.

will this be added so we can see who opened an email. It is very cumbersome to click each link to look it to see if it was opened.

  • I would like to see the comments in this thread added to the product enhancement list.  When reviewing Unsightly as a potential CRM solution, these features appeared quite useful, however, in actual practice they do not deliver as expected.  The stat summaries should be clickable to see the basis of the sea (i.e., listing of emails opened, clicked, etc) as well as those sent but not delivered.  The hard part is getting the end user feedback, which appears to have been at least partially addressed (though some opened emails (with received responses) are not always being flagged as such); it seems like is would be a query/report summarizing the flagged status of each email since the necessary data for each mail can be found by reviewing each email, which I agree with above -- it not a user-friendly approach.

  • I ended up going over to Agile CRM, both at appliant (my own company) and implementing Agile within a larger organisation I work for, essentially it came down to Features & Costs.

I love insightly and have recommended it to plenty of clients, however in todays highly competitive marketplace they are nowhere near some of the competition.

It's a shame it feels like there are some greate features that are not complete and others which are just missing. For a small consultancy I needed a lot of features and automation in one package and couldn't get this from insightly. Then in a medium sized organisation there was just simply far too much missing to compete against others we reviewed.

Would be interest @David to hear what your reviewing currently.

  • Hi everyone. Thank you for taking the time to post. There is definitely a lot here to consider. In response to the feedback on how our customers are using email templates, the Product team has decided to look into how these templates can be improved. Please keep the feedback coming and remember to vote up those improvements that matter to you so we can use that to help us prioritize what earns a place on the product roadmap.

  • Similar to others... would like to be able to quickly see which contacts bounced, opened or clicked on links in the emails to gauge engagement. Rather than having to open each one! These are key for marketing drips / workflows.

    Thanks
