The Leads feature is a great way to clean up "unqualified" opportunities (which previously my company tagged as such). However, the implementation seems quite bare at this point. While there are many fields integrated into each lead, only 3 of those find their way into the Leads page: Name, Company, and Phone Number. What about all the other great functions? The most glaring omission is the "Lead Rating," which should be front and center in the Leads Management screen.
Various methods could be used to integrate this into a dashboard view: simply list the number and allow sorting based on this field, colorize the leads to indicate the rating, make a bar chart or graph...
This function seems like the most important function of lead management, since it allows the sales reps to focus on the hot leads.
