Hello!

We wanted to customized our email content for the template where we can add pictures.

Your immediate response is highly appreciated.

Thank you.

  • You can customize the content of any email template you want. In addition, you have the options to insert links or attach emails. However, we are unable to insert an image into the body of the email.

Click here for more information on setting up email templates.

  • Thanks Micah, great answer!

As mentioned you will not be able to insert a photo. I would suggest submitting your photo as an attachment.

One item to note is that the email template is not customizable in all features or for all users. Free users will have some restrictions. Such as email scheduling and email signatures. All users can only add one link per template and no images to the body.

  • But we want our outgoing emails to have our branding, our logo. Is this really impossible for Insightly to do? With Mailchimp this is a simple drag and drop. It can clearly be done - see below. I really must be missing something.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

    Randal

  • @Randal- Unfortunately, you can't add a company logo at this time. You can choose to Customize your Email Signature

  • Yes, I would really love to include my brand image in my email signature as well. Is this something insightly is going to work on?

  • @Info- We don't have plans for it at this time. If this becomes a functionality you'll hear it here in the community first. :)

  • "We don't have plans for it at this time". Oh, dear.  This is putting me off using Insightly.  Seems crazy not to have proper image and formatting functionality!

  • Hi Roger!

    Thanks for joining the thread.

I understand this must be discouraging but know that your votes and feedback are still important. While this may not on our immediate road map, the team will be considering email improvements in the future. Thanks!

  • I too think it's essential for companies using a CRM to be able to utilize their branding.

  • Five months since the original post and request.  Are there any updates regarding this capability?

  • @Luis - We don't currently have any time frame as to whether or not this feature will be implemented.

Once we know more, we will absolutely update our users.

    Thank you for checking in!

  • I also think that it is critical that branded logos/images be included as part of the email signature. Branding is incredibly important to a company and it's recognition. I am new to this platform and am finding it easy to use however the issue with no being able to use images is requiring me to check out other CRM platforms.  If you want companies to use your platform for email, you really need to add this feature.  Can you give us some guidance as to when this feature will be available? Are you even working on it?  It seems from this thread that there is demand.

  • After some searching - found a work around. It might have been mentioned somewhere already, but go to https://support.insight.ly/hc/en-us/articles/218074278-Adding-a-hosted-image-to-your-custom-email-signature and then to convert your sig into HTML, go to https://html-cleaner.com/.

Then it's just copying and pasting the code in.

    Hope that helps!
