Roles and Titles converting with the lead to the opportunity

Hi,

I'd like it if the lead converting saved the title/role somehow into the contact details or elsewhere. Now it only exists in the converted lead and I have to copy it elsewhere.

  • Has this been fixed yet? Obviously it is fundamental that an important piece of information like this moves over to the contact's record.

    Thanks but surely this is a bug and not a feature request that needs voting for. You are losing information about a person when they are converted from a lead to a contact.

  • This needs fixing!

    Lead conversion results in the creation of a contact and an organization, as it should, and the two are linked, as they should be, but with no job title.

    Any possible workaround using custom fields is very awkward, and won't save us from having to go back and update hundreds of contact-to-organization links.

  • I am having the same problem, knowing the title of the person is very important and we didn't realise that the conversion from Lead to Contact was losing that information for a while and had to go back and find them all and fix them. Very Frustrating! Pretty please fix

  • Please fix that problem, it should be quite straight-forward. I absolutely agree with the other frustrated users that this is a HUGE waste of time and dulls the whole user experience.

  • I didn't even notice it at first so now I need to go through ALL of my converted leads to re-enter the contact's title/role. I agree, this shouldn't be a feature request. This should be fixed. How does this make sense at all? You can't tell me this was done on purpose. If so, for what logical reason?

  • 05-09-2018 - No change yet?  This is quite troublesome and disturbing since "Title" is a field that is VERY important and should follow the Lead.     Is the only solution, for now, to do a custom field???
