Multiple Currencies and QuickBooks

We work in GBP and this is set as our default currency, however when we look at records linked with QuickBooks the amounts on the account all show as Dollar signs.

We also have a customer we are working with and training them on Insightly.  They are a global organisation and work in multiple currencies.  For them everything shows in Dollars regardless of the currency that the account is in Quick Books.

It would be great if Insightly could pick up on the currency through the QuickBooks link and then show the appropriate currency symbol for that customer.  Is this something you could look at implementing please?

  • Thanks for sharing your suggestion!

As we do support international currencies in Insightly, I definitely understand it would be helpful (and make sense) to have our integrations reflect the same. Currently the Quickbooks integration will only support the US dollar. It's got my vote!

  • Can it be intergrated with a desktop version of Quickbooks?

  • @Debra Unfortunately no. Insightly will currently only integrate with Quickbooks Online.

  • Hi Gary:

There isn't an option to display other currency symbols such as the pound in the integration but the numbers that are reflected are accurate. We are looking into this and will let you know once there is an update!
