Google calendar sync - not syncing supplemental shared calendars

Hello - 

 

I see that the default calendar seems to sync but not our shared calendars.  We have an event business and have booked and unbooked calendars that we need to get brought into insightly.  Please advise.

    Insightly calendar sync will only sync with your default calendar. We're not able to sync with any shared calendar. 

    The Insightly calendar sync will copy your Insightly events to your Google or Exchange calendar and display the external calendar items on Insightly's calendar page. When you enable sync, you can update events in either calendar for an instant sync.

  • Jessica - can i manually import calendars then?  I'm trying to get the team off of the google calendar that isn't in sync through the limitations you mention below, so i would want to import.  I can't see to find out how

    There is the option to subscribe to Insightly calendars as a read only option. Please keep in mind that this is not true sync feature and that it can take up to 24 hours for updates to appear.

    As Jessica mentioned there is not an option to sync shared calendars in Insightly using Google Sync. This is separate from using the Mobile App. The calendar subscription option I've offered as a workaround to be able to view another user's Insightly Calendars on any Calendar that supports iCalendar/webcal standard or any HTTP calendar feeds. 

    There is a Feature Request post for Shared Calendars that you can show your support for by voting or commenting on. It's available here.

    Again, this is unrelated to google.  I shut off google sync all together.

     

    The mobile app of Insightly doesn't show the same calendar items as the website for one of my users.  Why is this the case?

    I apologize for the frustration. This is not available for the mobile app. The mobile app does not offer shared calendar.
