Color coding current stage for different pipeline types

I have 2 pipelines currently - Proposal and Website Development.  The first shows the stages of my proposal process for an opportunity, and the 2nd shows stages for an opportunity converted to a project.  Is there any way to assign a color to each, so when I am looking at All opportunities view, the light blue color of the current stage would be different for each pipeline type?  I realize I can change the filter to only view open or closed opportunities, but it would be great if the color of the current stage could be tied to the pipeline type.  Thanks!

  • Color coding pipeline is not a customization option but I can see how some other users might also find this useful.

I will move this to Product Feedback so that others can vote and comment on this too!

  • I would also like to be able to change colors of the stages in a pipeline. That way at a glance I could see which stage has been reached. Would be fine to be able to choose from a set of colors, perhaps make it a large set so that we can have many stages. Dream level would be several shades of same color...for example, I could set three stages to different shades of green, next two to different shades of blue, etc. A glance would show me a project is in the blue phase, light blue means early in that phase (stage), then dark blue means it will soon progress to the next color/ set of stages. Thank you!

  • Agreed 100%. We need this feature as well. We want to be able to look at ALL opportunities without having to filter by pipeline type. Having different color-coded pipelines would move us closer to putting our entire staff on Insightly. Currently, I am the only one in my company using it right now until I know for a fact that it will be worth spending an extra $300+ a month for other users.

  • This is a great idea. Seems like it would be simple to implement.

We'd like to be able to color code pipelines so we can easily differentiate between brands and/or products.

We already have different pipelines for different brands/products, so it makes sense to have them color coded.

  • Different pipeline colors is an absolute MUST please.  For one to get away from that awful light teal color but two to visually see different stages from the ALL OPEN pipeline screen.

  • @Adam Mull.. hehe.. that awful teal color!

We really would love to color code pipelines, because we have different brands/products/services. Color coding things, like pipelines, will help things stand out more!

  • +1  Really critical.  We are struggling to differentiate between our Project pipelines and Opportunity pipelines in Tasks.  Need ASAP.
