E-mail Template Metrics

We recently used the e-mail templates function for the first time to send out a press release regarding our company. We noticed the metrics in the template telling what percentage of people opened the e-mail and what percentage clicked on links within the e-mail. 

That's nice, but what would really be useful is to see WHO actually opened and clicked. That's a good indicator of who is a Warm / Hot lead and who isn't.

Can this functionality be provided? Or is it already there and I didn't see it?

    Great question! You can see this by clicking into an individual email that was sent via a template. In the email there will be a section called 'Email Events' that shows you if the email was opened. You will not see the 'Email Events' section unless the email was opened by the recipient.

  • That's a start, but if we are sending 100+ e-mails out as part of a template, it would be nice if that data could be found in one place. For example, click a link and get a list of everyone that has opened the e-mail (or hasn't, or both).

    That doesn't seem too hard based on the data you're already collecting?

    Yes the email template is the only way to measure the statistics if the email was opened or not.

  • Is there any update on this functionality (seeing stats of who (name) opened the email by not looking at each individually)?  Is there a report that could be built?

  • I'd like to add another voice to the request to be able to click one place and receive a list of who has and who has not opened an email template email.
