I want to go from jotform to insightly using zapier but the custom fields are not showing up......how to you insure that the custom fields appear when transferring the data?
I contacted Zapier and they said they are contacting you but that it is on your end..... I feel like I am stuck in between two people pointing fingers and just need a solution
Zapier Support has replied that they will need some additional information from each of you.
What they need to know is which trigger you are using and with which action. Each individual trigger and action in Zapier will have its own support for custom fields. They also would like to know if you looking for the custom fields on the action or trigger side.
Please contact them directly so they can look into your individual Zapier account set up.
I have let them know that you will be reaching out with this information and they are ready to help :)
It is easy jot form fields into insightly custom text fields. The Jotforrm fields show up but the insightly custom fields where I want to put the data do not. I have told them this 3 times now. Guess this is what I should expect from Zapier customer support
Zapier Support also mentioned that they are only able to add data into Insightly's custom fields when it's a Contact record. Not sure if this is what either of you have set up.
FYI, I just received notice from jotform that they have now integrated insightly custom fields in their forms, i.e. there's no need to go go via Zapier anymore. Well done jotform! It took them just over a week to implement this fix after I suggested it last Thursday. I wish insightly would be as responsive when it comes to such quick fixes...

The "zaps" into Insightly are created and housed in Zapier. We do recommend contact Zapier's Support Team for assistance with this.

My custom fields finally showed up. I guess the system had to update. I can see mine now. Thanks.
