Support transparent PNGs for logos and avatars

I've tried several transparent PNGs and they all show up with white backgrounds. Most platform services allow transparent PNGs for logos.  It looks silly to use a dark theme with a white background on the logo.

  • Agreed.  I've now wasted 30 minutes trying to get my logo to look right. Very frustrating!

  • Agreed. We contacted CS to find a solution and we were told that transparent PNGs were not supported. Such a simple feature. White labeling options are limited which inst a big deal, but a clean method to add our companies logo seems pretty standard.

On the bright side we have Insightly!  So we can add a project task for our designer now. "Design a logo for our Insightly instance that doesn't have an ugly white block background"

    Hope this gets sorted eventually.

  • Hello, we recently migrated to insightly and are also trying to get our transparent logo into the Insightly CRM. Most other CRM's do allow for customization of the theme and logo. Is this possible?

    This just looks silly:

  • I'd sure like this as well! Thanks for working to get all these features out all of the time!

  • Yes, control over the logo and company branding would be awesome! We're a marketing company, and it's not a good portrayal of our standards when our company logo looks terrible.

  • No update to this from Inisghtly?? Seems a pretty simple one considering the massive UI changes you've just unleashed!!

  • Just to confirm that this still hasn't been addressed - and the lack of comment from Insightly since 2016 (which also didn't respond in any meaningful way) is equally disappointing, but at this point, also not surprising. I'm not sure why they even bother with the pretence of a support forum, to be honest, given that paying customer feedback is of no interest to the company.
