Outlook app

I have installed the Insightly app on our Microsoft Exchange Server and it is working on my colleagues Outlook accounts, but not mine.  I have uninstalled then re installed, still the same issue for me.  I can see other apps in Outlook but Insightly will not show - even though it shows as active in my Microsoft app account.  Please help, how can I get the app to show in Outlook for me, why would my account be different to my colleagues?  Please help.

  • Hello Amanda, thank you for your post!

Microsoft has specific requirements for apps for Outlook, like Insightly's, which require security permissions to create records from your incoming email messages. In addition to Outlook 2013, you must also either use Exchange Server 2013 or have an Office 365 for Business (not Home) subscription. We have many articles with valuable information regarding the app's requirements and installation.

Also, please note that if your primary email account is a Google Apps Gmail account, the Outlook App will not work. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Since we do not have access to your Office subscription information or settings, if you are not sure which version of Outlook or Office you are using or are still having trouble installing the app, please contact Microsoft customer support for assistance. They have been able to help many customers with getting the application installed and running.

    I hope that helps!
