Web to Lead Email Notification

I have set up "Sales Person A" to be the "User Responsible" on our Insightly "Web to Lead" form and put the HTML on our site.  When I test it I am getting notified by e-mail.  How can I set it so that "Sales Person A" gets notified.  

I don't understand how to set "Email Notification Settings"  (Just Me or Everyone With Visibility To The Lead) so that the "User Responsible" get's the email.

I had Sales Person A log on and used the HTML generated when they were logged in and it made no difference.

    Here are the steps you'll want to take to generate the code that emails the user you're looking to make responsible. 

    Go to System Settings > Web to Lead > Choose the Responsible User > Click Save > Generate the HTML code

    That should do it! :)

  • Jessica, the problem is that EMAIL NOTIFICATION SETTINGS on the Web to Lead page lacks the most important feature: "Send to responsible user."

    In my environment, "Just to me" sends to the administrator.

    Can you please share your team's assessment? We are a small business expanding our part-time workforce. Organization and clarity regarding responsibilities is enormously important.

    You're correct this feature isn't available in Insightly's Web to Lead form. You may want to check out the Ideas & Suggestions page to see if this has been submitted by another user and add your vote. If you don't find it, you can add a new post so others can vote on this too :)

  • just web to lead.  We changed the "User Responsible" and created a new code, but still no luck.

    Is the email address you're trying to send the notifications to different from the email address that user uses to sign into Insightly?

  • No, its not a registered mail in Insightly it a generic mail whe use for clients.

    Web to Lead notification emails can only be sent to the email addresses that your users use to login, same as the standard Insightly notifications.  At this point in time, there's no way to change that without updating the user's email address in Insightly.
