Advanced Reporting - Questions on filters
Hello!
Apologies if these questions were already asked but I had trouble looking through existing posts for my answer.
1. Is there a way to look for multiple values in one filter field? i.e. User Responsible contains Salesperson #1, Salesperson #2, Salesperson #3, etc. Commas do not work.
2. Is there a way to increase my filter limit? Right now, I am capped at 8.
Thanks!
Tanya

Hi Tanya!
Let me get you more information on our advanced reporting feature!
Here are some helpful articles to walk you through our advanced reporting features:

And if you prefer our original reports, you can always switch back to Legacy Reports. This article explains the difference between Advanced and Legacy report options.
If you have any questions, please let us know - we're happy to help! :)
Thanks, Jessica, but I've already read all those articles and all/any of the videos linked in them. My questions are still unanswered. Thanks.
@Tanya - It's not possible to insert multiple values in one field, you would need to add a filter criteria for each one.
Currently, the filter limit is set at 8. The option of adding more has been suggested so it's always possible it could happen on later releases of the advanced reporting software.
I hope this helps!
Is this still the case? It makes reporting very limited if we can't get multiple values for one filter (separated by a comma or something else). Thanks.
This is needed. We have to filter most things across multiple excel documents and it's beginning to feel like too much effort.
Hey guys,
While this is not currently a part of Insightly, multi select drop downs across filters is something we are working on. We hope to have an update for this soon!
Hello Alex S,
I need to export all European records, which means I can only export a few countries at a time and then have to merge them in a spreadsheet because report filters are so limited.
Can you tell me how close this Multiple Select Dropdown option is? And will it automatically populate the dropdown values from unique values in the actual data. (I'm using a custom UDF for the country field)
thanks
