Personalize Redirect Page from Completed Form

I am looking to recreate this redirect page after someone has filled out our Insightly form. We have a custom redirect page, but I would like to include the first name given from the form submission.

How can I get the first name from the submitted form to show up as a query "?firstName=Insightly" (replacing Insightly with the correct name of course).

  • Kiefer,

First, I love this question so much I'm going to implement it after sharing this with you. I have two ideas:

    1. This sounds like a perfect use of Ninja Forms with the insightly add-on. A ton of flexibility and options and it's quite inexpensive. Beware however that the insightly add-on has yet to be made ready for Ninja 3.0. Still works. I use it at 74systems.com/contact and it redirects to a page for a free consultation automagically. I don't do what you request, but I have a feeling it can be done with this tool.

    2. Assuming this is Wordpress, and you are not afraid of a little PHP programming, try the link below. I am going to try to do this also, so please let me know if you need help or get it working. I love this idea for my form as I go from Contact to Scheduling Software. I wish insightly had an integration with ScheduleOnce. I'm working on that too!

Anyhow, here's the link that explains it in language I can understand.

  • Good day Eric,

We are self-hosting and so I don't believe your WordPress workaround will work. Have you had any luck using Nina Forms?

I'm just not sure how a custom solution is supposed to scrape the information from Insightly and instantly put it into an external page that isn't connected to Insightly.

    Cheers,

    Kiefer

  • Kiefer,

Self hosting should not be an issue. I have not yet tried this with Ninja. I do in fact need to make this work so if you email me I will let you know when I figure it out. The irony here is when you email me, I will "flag the email and create an insightly task via Zapier" in one fell swoop. Then, the task will remind me to do this for myself and to keep you in the loop. I love this tool!

  • Sent! I very much look forward to a solution to this. I think it's a great way to stand out, and personalize the beginning of the sales pipeline just that little bit more!

Received your email and flagged it:

Automagically it was created as a task in insightly via Zapier:
