Why are the scheduled emails not sending?

I've scheduled emails to go out on my account but they are not sending?

 

I have sent another scheduled email to go out today and it's still not working. 

 

What is going on?

 

Can you get back to me ASAP or look into my account for me

  • Also, I sent 2 support request via tickets and they are not answering my questions.

    I'm sorry you haven't received a response,. I do see one of our Support representatives is currently reviewing your tickets.

    What time frame did you select to send out your emails? Are they successfully sending if you select now?

  • Nope. Still no emails being sent! A very unhappy customer!

     

    I sent a support request on Friday the 22nd and today is Tuesday 26th. 4 days for a response is super slow.

  • I used the following:

     

    Send in 3 hours - didn't work

    Set schedule for 1 hour ahead - didn't work

    Set schedule for 5 hours ahead - didn't work

    Set schedule for next day - didn't work

    I really would like to help. I set up some test scheduled emails to be sent within the hour and they were sent out successfully. My colleague had a 3 hour scheduled email that was also sent out on time.

    Some in depth troubleshooting with your account will be needed to verify what is causing this issue.

    We are also experiencing the same problem. Emails are successfully scheduled.

     

    Setup up the our email account was successfully verified but sending emails never seem to arrive.

    Sorry to hear this is happening. Are these e-mails never sending or are they sending at an incorrect time/date?

    In the past we had experienced an issue where e-mails were actually sent at the correct time/date however they still appeared under the Scheduled E-mails tab. This was resolved, but please let me know if this is what you are experiencing.

    Can you confirm that you have selected the correct time zone on your account's User Settings > User Details page?

  • Same issue here, I've been trying to send scheduled emails all week using the "Schedule date & time" feature the night before the emails were supposed to go out, previously they went out but consistently 47mins late, today they didn't go out at all.

    Can you also look into this please? Earlier this week when the schedule feature still kind of worked, when I tried to schedule at 5am for 10am the same day, it would send the emails straight away without scheduling them. It did work with the 47mins delay if I did the same the night before though. My time zone is Sydney.

    Insightly seems like a great product but not for people who have to rely on scheduling emails.

    I tested just now and no, it hasn’t been fixed. I created an email just now (26th 6:47AM Sydney time) scheduled to be sent on the 26th at 10AM Sydney time and even though it says “Email scheduled for sending” it went out without scheduling.

  • Hi all, was this ever fixed? I am also from Sydney and using the free version of Insightly (so my scheduling is immediate) and no emails are sending out as of today.

  • This is still being looked into Bryan. We have found that if an email is scheduled for 3 hours or more in advance it processes without any hiccups. We'll be sure to let you know once it's been resolved.

    No, it's not working. The emails are always recorded as sent from Insightly but they are never received by the other inboxes.

    Can you check your SMTP server URL with your Email service provider?  The URL usually begins with mail or smtp. We believe that the URL entered in your set up may not be receiving the email from Insightly to push it through to your contacts.

  • Hi Murray,

    Our development team is investigating this issue now. As a workaround, please follow the steps below to email your Contacts out of Insightly:

    1. Go to the Emails page.
    2. Click "New Email."
    3. Select the recipients on the right side under "Send To"

    From there, you should be able to email your contacts.

    If this workaround doesn't work for you, please let me know.

  • Same issue - we are on a trial to test out this feature specifically - as we use other services.

    I need someone to directly contact me, we can't even test to our lists - the only option, your work around, is not even sufficient to test the parameters we wish to experiment with.
