Email Limit Was Reached--Now Can't Send Out Emails

 Hello--

I reached my limit with Google yesterday without any notification until later in the afternoon.  I have about 30 emails that are showing not sent with the following message:

Error: This email was not sent due to problems communicating with your email provider. Error was "BDAT command has been rejected by the server. 550 5.4.5 Daily user sending quota exceeded. x71sm24989111pfj.43 - gsmtp "

The problem is, when I go to resend the message, Insightly has "greyed" out the button.  I can't send anything.  Can you please assist?

Thank you!

  • Hi Joel,

Insightly Plans also has a limit on the amount of emails you can send out per day which could have caused the temporary block. It will refresh daily. Our records show that you are now successfully able to send out emails once again.

  • Just tried.  Still won't let me use any template.  Actually removes the 'recepient' from the field completely.

  • Hi Joel,

By any chance did you recently change your email password? This can cause your account to be "unverified". Can you try:

    1. Log into your Insightly account > go to User Settings > Email Accounts > and select the small trash icon next to that email to remove it.

    2. Reset up your account

Let me know if you continue to have trouble.

  • I don't think that was the issue.  But it's working now.  Thanks!
