Auto-created Contacts/Organizations aren't linked

Hello, I have sent some emails with the Insightly gmail chrome extension (by clicking the orange square in gmail). I noticed that Insightly will create a contact and create an organization based on the email, if they don't exist already.

The new contact is linked to the email. The new organization is linked to the email. However, the new contact isn't linked to the new organization.

How do I fix this?

    Can you share the Contact Name on a record that didn't link when you used the Save Email button?

    We haven't been able to recreate this. Each of the emails we've saved links to the appropriate related records (newly created Contact to Organization and to the Saved Email).

    I cannot share any of that data publicly, however, I'll be happy to share record IDs:

    83027429 was auto-created, but didn't link to 176373965 which was also auto-created. 
    I believe they were both auto-created when I saved the email from the gmail extension.

  • Hi there,

    Thanks for the example you provided. Our Sidebar currently will not link the Organization and Contact like the Gadget would. You will need to manually link these two together.
