Google drive not connecting

 I was able to connect to my files last week but un able to the last two days. Can someone take a look and see why?

  • I also cannot see the docs from drive I did get uploaded last week from my insightly account but the other 2 users can

  • I have had this issue connecting my google drive to my projects for two days for two separate users. This is unacceptable for your paying clients. Please have an associate call our office to provide IT support for this issue today. We are losing time and revenue due to this issue.

    Would you be able to share a screenshot of your Google permissions to make sure Insightly has access to Google Drive? We would need to see the Google Drive link. It will appear like this:


    You can find this from your Gmail profile Icon > My Account > Connected apps & sites > Manage Apps > Insightly.

  • This has stopped working for me too - as far as i am aware nothing has changed. Please Advise.

    Also after trying to access the Google drive the insightly screens do not respond to mouse clicks - I have to sign out and back in again.

    This is weird! I'm sorry this is happening.

    I just tested on Chrome and Firefox and wasn't able to replicate. Have you tried a different browser?

    Similar to the request for Jennifer, would you be able to share a screenshot of your Google permissions to make sure Insightly has access to Google Drive?

    Can you try the following:

    1. Unlink Insightly from his Google Account: In Gmail > Profile Icon > My Account > Connected apps & sites > Manage Apps > Choose Insightly and remove it.

    2.Re-establish the link that was just disconnected,by importing one contact from Google Contacts:

    Insightly > Contacts > Import contacts and notes > import your contacts from Gmail > Select one contact and import

    3. When that import is complete, try to link to a gDrive record. The link should be re-established.

  • I am not able to link files from our google drive suddenly today, across multiple different browsers.  When clicking the upload from google drive button from the files tab, the browser hangs with the following message:

    Browser console:
    Load denied by X-Frame-Options: https://googleapps.insight.ly/Drive/Picker/12948389?type=Opportunity does not permit cross-origin framing.

    Worked just fine yesterday, and nothing has changed.  I have performed the steps outlined above and it still didn't work.  This is a workflow stoppage for us.  Help!

    Insightly doesn't work well with frames such as x frames or i frames. Are you working through a vpn?

  • I've had this issue for several weeks now.  I also performed the steps listed, still nothing.  I need this bad.  What happen?  We've been using this feature for months as our we have reached our storage limits and have no way to increase just storage.  This is keeping our sales team from loading needed docs for our engineers to use for timely submitals.

  • It appears to be just me.  Chrome.  No error message, rather the screen is locked, and I get the "loading your google drive" with the bars moving back and forth.  I've left it in this state for several hours once, no change.

    It sounds like this might be a browser issue.  Could you try using a different browser to see if you're still encountering the error?  If you're able to access your Google Drive in Insightly from a different browser, then you probably just need to clear your Chrome's cache to correct the issue.
