filter by lead "status type"

It seems you can create custom filters and advanced reports for "Lead Status", but not lead "Status Type" such as OPEN or CLOSED.

It would be good to be able to filer by any field. Particularly important for this one, as it's often a key driver for work flow.

  • Has anyone found a way to create this filter? We really need to be able to see at a glance which leads we've contacted and which we haven't.

  • I agree.  This seems so basic.  We have 5 types of OPEN leads, so if I want to see all open leads in California I have to add 10 filter steps.  Very tedious.  State = CA and Lead Status = Contacted or State = CA and Lead Status = NotContacted or ....etc.

  • Mike Wrob, you were able to create a custom filter for this? or did you view them some other way?

  • Actually I just figured out how to create the filter I needed. I used "contains" instead of "equal to" and that did the trick!

  • Actually, I found out yesterday you can do it after switching over to the new Insightly.  There are a lot of other great features in the new Insightly as well, but I was unaware there was a new Insightly.  They should do a better job of letting their customers know about the new Insightly because it addresses a lot of complaints we had.

  • Hmmmm how do I know if I have the new insightly? And one more question: is there a way to alphabetize your leads?

  • Hi Martha,

I've taken a look and you are currently on the Classic version of Insightly.

With the Classic version of Insightly you can't alphebatize leads view.

With the New User Experience, you can sort leads in alphabetical order.

If you want to switch between The New Insightly CRM view and the Classic Insightly view, please see the directions below:

    1. Go to System Settings
    2. Click Switch your team to the new Insightly User Experience

Please know this will switch the Insightly view for all users on the account, including non-admins users. Please let your non-admin users know you will be making this change, as they do not have access to System Settings.
