Exporting Data Issue.

I'm getting no response when I click the export contacts to CSV link. I get a pop-up that says the data was queued successfully, but I'm not receiving an email. I've checked all of my email folders and don't see anything from Insightly (including spam). I've tried exporting organizations and contacts, and also tried to send a smaller segment of my contacts. No luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

    Sorry to hear this is happening.

    Can you ask the other user on your account if he's able to login and export the data? Sometimes the export email is blocked for one user, but not for another.

    You may also try:

    1. Try adding the e-mail ""exports@insightly.com"" as a contact in your email program’s contacts list. Most email programs will allow messages from your contacts to pass through any filters. In my experience, this is usually the most reliable fix.

    2. Add our domain name (insightly.com and insight.ly) to your approved senders list (whitelist). This process is a bit different for each email program, but If you use Gmail, you might find these instructions helpful: http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=97736

    3. Check to be sure that these e-mails are not being quarantined by your e-mail host. You may need to reach out to your e-mail provider to check this.

    Let me know if you continue having trouble after trying these steps.

  • I am also having the same issue. It has always worked so probably not an issue with my email host.

  • Hi Frederic,

    Sometimes the queue can be significant when many users are exporting simultaneously, especially on a Monday morning, which can cause a delay in the delivery.  Have you still not received your exports?
