MailChimp API Key install not working

I am trying to integrate MailChimp with Insightly. I am following the tutorial, I created a API Key with MailChimp and paste it to Insightly. When I paste the API Key I am still unable to install MailChimp. I have refreshed MailChimp's API Key twice and the same thing happens. I am tyring to open a ticket for this but unable to do this as well because I am unable to find the request to do so.  Please advise how to move forward.

  • Hi Mikhaila,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Instead of using your mouse to paste the API can you try pasting using your keyboard?

  • I just tried that and it is still not working. I even typed the API in myself, still nothing.

  • Hi Mikhaila,

This is a site performance issue we're looking into. I'll make sure to follow up once we have an update.

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Hi Nora,

That is unfortunate considering that is the reason I paid to upgrade. What is the timeframe in which this will be completed? Can this be done by Monday as it is prolonging our marketing efforts.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi Iorenzo:

How are you entering your API key into Inisightly? We've found that some users have been successful entering the API key using CTRL + V to paste into the information. Let us know what your findings are.

  • Hello Liza,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with that. It sounds like your issue could be related to your web browser.

To check if it’s the browser, can you try accessing the page with a different browser than the one you have been using? We recommend Firefox or Chrome and make sure that you've updated your browsers to the latest available version.

If it works in another browser, I suggest logging out of all accounts, clearing the original browser’s cache, then signing back in to see if that resolves the problem. Here are the instructions on how to clear your cache; we've included instructions for all popular browsers, so regardless of which browser you use, we've got you covered:

    Chrome

    Firefox

    Microsoft Edge

    Safari

I hope that helps. If not, let me know which operating system and browsers you've tried and I'll continue to investigate. Any additional details about the steps you're taking will also help me troubleshoot for you.
