Revenue Goal Tracking

Is there a way to enter revenue goals for certain opportunity pipeline so I can track how we are doing against our revenue targets?



  • Hello Alan,

    When creating an Opportunity you have the ability to use the field "Opportunity Value." Just select the currency and enter whole numbers (no commas or decimal points). And when in the kanban view for opportunities, Insightly displays the number and total value of the opportunities in each stage of a pipeline. When you drag an opportunity from one stage to another or edit an opportunity's value, the numbers will update dynamically.

    Thanks so much but not sure we are aligned around the question.  Or if you answered it, my apologies as it isn't clear.  I'm aware that I can assign value to an opportunity.  My ask is very different.  Let's say I have 3 product categories.  For each different category I have a revenue goal of $100k.  I need to be able to know that so far this year we've sold "x" amount in a particular category towards the $100k for a particular category.  The question is around revenue goals by pipeline/category.

    If you have the functionality I'm asking about, it would be thrilling because I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance for your help.

    At the moment this feature that you are looking for does not exist in Insightly. On the bright side, we are always looking for new ways to improve the Insightly experience for our users. On that note, I recommend if you have the time to post this feature request on our Ideas & Suggestions page where other Insightly users can vote and comment on the post. In general, the more activity a request receives, the more likely it is to be considered for implementation.
