Lead Status

How can I remove a Lead Status from the System Settings?  I reviewed another similar post about deleting a Lead Status but I have removed all Leads within our system as suggested and still unable to delete a Lead Status.  What is the procedure for deleting a Lead Status when no leads are present?

    Hope you're having a great day.

    You'll need to delete Leads with that status from the Recycle Bin in order to delete the Lead Status in System Settings.
