Gmail sidebar - Contact not found

Hi -when I create a contact using the sidebar, it offers for me to view the contact in Insightly.  However, every time I try to view the contact, it says "contact not found".  If I search in Insightly, I can't find the contact, but if I search in the gmail sidebar I can.

    Hope you're having a great day.

    I took a look and it appears that you have 2 Insightly accounts, one being a GSuite and the other a non-GSuite.

    I would recommend logging out of the Insightly Sidebar then logging back in with your current credentials to see if that routes the newly created contacts to the correct Insightly account.

    Please let me know if that works for you.

  • Hi Ezrie,

    No worries at all.

    You'll want to login via the GSuite button and choose the email address associated with your Insightly account.

    Once you're logged in choose "Billing & Account" from the User profile dropdown in the top-right of Insightly.

    Then select "Cancel Account" and click the "Please cancel and delete my account" button.

    I've also included a link to one of our Help Articles outlining the steps to cancel and delete your account.

    In addition, I would recommend double checking the records to make sure you're deleting the correct Insightly account.

  • So, I followed your instructions and decided to delete both accounts because I wanted to start fresh (I know, I know).  I recereated the g suite account and I can log in.  But I get the following error:

     

    500. That's an error.

    We have logged this error and notified our developers.

    That's all we know.

  • Hello Ezrie,

    I apologize that you are experiencing this issue. 

    After taking a look at your Insightly Account I see that the sign-up process hasn't been completed.

    Can you try completing the sign-up process and see if the error message reappears? Also, it will help to uninstall/reinstall your Insightly sidebar to avoid any login confusion for your new Insightly Account.
