Date of next activity visible but no Task

Hello

I have issue with the Task - I found that i have some contacts with the date of the next activity, but there is Task missing. So we kind of forget about the task, how can i fix this issue please.

    It could be possible that you still see "Date of Next Activity" for the due date of the next incomplete task. And, seeing how there's no Task linked to the Contact this Task might be in the Recycle Bin which will make still active. Can you navigate to your Recycle Bin and take a look and see if the Task is there? The Recycle Bin link appears in the right sidebar when viewing a list of records.

    To restore items in the Recycle Bin:

    1. Select one of the main tabs to access a list view. It doesn't matter which tab you select, as there is only one Recycle Bin for your entire Insightly account.
    2. Click Recycle Bin in the right sidebar.
    3. Click the checkboxes next to the items you'd like to recover or delete
    4. Click the Restore Items button

  • Dear Alejandro,

    thank you for your reply. I did tried to delete all the items form the Recycle Bin yesterday, and today i did try to run the report again - but still it´s shouwing the conctact with some next activity date, but the Task is not there. I did deleted all the items from the recycle bin. But still have the same issue. 

    Is there anything else I can do to delete the Next activity date from the contact which dont have any Task attached?

    Thanks for giving that a try for me!

    As a workaround, we just recently released our New Insightly CRM experience. I've tested the issue and the issue is resolved in our New Insightly Experience. Future releases and site updates are only tested on our New Insightly CRM experience. So you may run into some site performance issues by continuing to use our Insightly Classic interface. Are you able to switch over and see if the issue no longer occurs for you?

    Any admin can switch to the new view layout by going to System Settings > Switch your team to the new Insightly User ExperienceFrom there tick off the box and save your settings. You'll be logged out and prompted to log in with our new login page.

    Please note: Once you switch between Insightly Classic and the New Insightly Experience, you will not be able to switch back manually.

  • Hello Alejandro,

    thank you for your reply. I did tried to change it to Isightly Experience, but the problem is not fixes, and now we are limited with another features. Example we are not able now filter tasks if we want to filter it by the group. :( 

    How can I fix this issue - why the filter is not working?

    How I can go back to the classic version - hope its still possible.

    Thanks for switching over and giving that a try!

    For this issue where the "Date of Next Activity" isn't clearing, I'll proceed to create a ticket to help share some important information.

    To share some helpful information regarding filtering Tasks in the New Insightly Experience. You'll need to create a custom "List View" which helps you sort and filter your records. Once you have created your List View you can create your own "custom filters." 

    Hope that helps with creating filters for your Tasks!
