List view filters

Hi,

I have created a list view filter under Opportunities and Projects which i'd like to be the default view, but everytime I log out and in again it automatically removes the filter, so I have to re-add this by clicking on the funnel icon. Is there anyway to set this as the default so I don't have to click to add this everytime I log in?

Many thanks,

  • Hi,

Please see attached (i've hidden the columns that we don't want to be public). When I log out and log back in again, my opportunities (and projects) automatically lose their filter and show as 'Recently Viewed' - screenshot 1. I then have to click on the drop down arrow next to 'Recently Viewed' to change it to the filter that I want, which is shown in screenshot 2. Before we upgraded Insightly would remember the filter that you had set, and wouldn't lose this each time you logged out. Please could you help?

    Many thanks,

  • Hello Sales,

Thanks for providing those screenshots and further clarification! \

To help further explain why this happens in an update to Insightly we added a new Standard List View called "Recently Viewed" for all major record types in Insightly (Contacts, Leads, Organizations, Projects, etc.) You'll see up to 50 records that you clicked on in this view.

Therefore, every time you log out and log back into Insightly, your view will default back to the Recently Viewed list. To change this, click under the different list views (at the top-left corner of the screen) and select the list you want.

Hope that helps explain this change. Thanks for your time and understanding!
