Email Templates

I am unable to save my email templates.  Older ones are in there and work fine but nothing new saves.  I only have 3 in there at this point.  I have tried to reach insightly by calling them, facebook messaging them, and tweeting them.  I have been a paying customer for several years and I am very disappointed.  I have no use for insightly without the email templates.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues saving those Email Templates.

    Sometimes the page needs to be refreshed in order for changes to display within the Web UI. Are you still unable to see the new email templates after refreshing the page upon creation?

    In addition, please make sure that you're using a supported web browser when using Insightly to ensure full functionality.

  • I've been seeing this complaint a lot. I too can no longer save templates and there is no visual indication as to why.

  • We are experiencing this problem as well. The templates are very important to us being able to be efficient with our communication. I'm also seeing that this is a reoccurring issue which may require that we build templates again which would be a horrible utilization of our time. Please provide update as to when this problem will be fixed.

    I'm sorry you're having trouble with that. It sounds like your issue could be related to your web browser.

    To check if it’s the browser, can you try accessing the page with a different browser than the one you have been using? We recommend Firefox or Chrome and make sure that you've updated your browsers to the latest available version.

    If it works in another browser, I suggest logging out of all accounts, clearing the original browser’s cache, then signing back in to see if that resolves the problem. Here are the instructions for how to clear your cache; we've included instructions for all popular browsers, so regardless of which browser you use, we've got you covered:

    Chrome
    Firefox
    Microsoft Edge
    Safari

  • I'm pretty sure there is a problem on Insightly's backed not on our browsers. I have a response from your support team that says they are aware of the problem and will contact me when a solution has been found. If you look across your ZenDesk you'll see several other people having this exact issue.

  • Hello.. I have the same exact issue. I even tried to overwrite one of the existing templates. But it still won’t save. Please please help.

    To further help support you may I ask which browser and version you are using? Also, can you provide your exact steps when experiencing an issue with email templates?

  • I am unable to save an email template.  Using Safari as my browser.  Very pleased with the Insightly experience but this is frustrating.
