GMail Plugin Has Disappeared!
GMail Plugin to send Gmails to Insightly has disappeared. It has worked flawlessly for years, displaying at the bottom of each GMail. Have tried rebooting, etc. Google says it something they don't support and have offered no help; perhaps, i haven't spoken to the right person?

On one of the Insightly pages, I found a response to the question "How to install the Gmail Plugin" and it suggests Installing Insightly.
Since I already have Insightly installed, I am reluctant because, as I said, I already have Insightly installed and it was working fine until it disappeared only recently. Would it hurt to reinstall all of Insightly and hope that it works? I have looked for just the Gmail Plugin & can't find it as a separate app.
Thanks, Steve

Hello Stephen & Dhruv,
Are you referring to the Gmail gadget? See screenshot below for clarification:
Yes that;s correct. But i have been informed that its been discontinued, is that correct?
Hello Dhruv,
That is correct per Google, Gmail Gadgets were discontinued on August 1st, 2018. You can read the Google announcement here: Gmail contextual gadgets going away on August 1st, 2018.
Even though the Gadgets are no longer available, you can use our Gmail Add-on or the Sidebar to save emails to Insightly. With our Gmail Add-on, you can do the following:
We have articles about the Gmail Add-on here: The Insightly Add-on for Gmail (beta), and you can find information about the Sidebar here: Insightly Sidebar overview.
Please note: The Sidebar isn't compatibility with the new Gmail layout at this time. To use the Sidebar, you'll need to switch back to the Classic Gmail layout. Also, you cannot use the Gmail Add-on and the Sidebar at the same time.
Hope that helps and answers your question!
