I help introduce and develop sales of new products (actually food ingredients) in a B2B marketplace. I have multiple clients (but not many <5) as well as my own development projects.
One of my clients wants access to the database to:
1. monitor the status of projects etc.
2. Add and manage opportunities for products that I am not responsible for
My clients may overlap in terms of organizations and contacts but not opportunities - these are product specific (and I have added Custom Fields to identify Client and product)
Is there a way to keep these separate? Can I create 2 databases, one specifically for this customer and one for the rest of my clients? How could I manage 2 databases (and would they talk - ie would I have to enter a new organization into both?)
