Adding Other Account


I have my customized emails (**** and **** added to my gmail, but I would really like to send emails from Insightly to have the tracking instead of bouncing back and forth between the two platforms. 

When I try to add my email to insightly using the Other email fuction, it defaults with the same data I use to sync it to my gmail account, but states "The username and password you supplied was not correct". 

This is the same user name and password I provide to both the original webmail login and to Gmail. The port is locked, so I can not change that on my end.

Please let me know how I can get this fixed.

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. Let's see if I can help resolve this with you.

    If you're having issues with the 'Other' option, please try this both with the 'SSL Required' field checked and unchecked to see if that solves the problem. This field can affect the SMTP setup.

    Also, if you're using pop or IMAP, you'll need to locate the SMTP settings and enter these for the SMTP server field. This article may help, too.
