Importing excel files

Hi everyone,

I am testing out Insightly and am trying to import an Insightly contact excel file into Insightly.

Even though I only have about 10 contacts, I am getting a message saying my file is too large.

Is this true despite there being a mention saying I am limited to 500 records OR is it because I am still only on a free plan.

Could it also be that the contents of my file are not filled in correctly ?

  • Hello Mark,

    It could be that your import file has blank rows within it exceeding the limit of the import file. I suggest double checking your import file for blank rows and possibly recreating it as a new CSV file.

    Let me know if that does the trick.
