Chrome periodically won't load data

Chrome periodically won't load data. I can sign into my Insightly account, however the Dashboard has the circle image "Loading...", and the other sections (Tasks, Contacts, Organizations, etc...) are all empty.

If I use the Firefox browser, Insightly will load the data.

I've tried deleting the cache and reinstalling Chrome, but that doesn't help.

Things do reset and work "if" I reboot my computer, but that is becoming a pain.

Any idea how to fix this?

    Sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue when using the Google Chrome browser. Are you able to provide screenshots that show the exact issue you are having?

  • It has been working for a few days, but then did it again.  Here are some screenshots...

    Once it is like this, the only fix I've found is to reboot the computer.

    Sorry to hear this issue returned for you and it sounds like the issue is intermittent. It looks like your issue could be related to your web browser.

    To check if it’s the browser, can you try accessing the page with a different browser than the one you have been using? Another option is to use Firefox and to make sure that you've updated your browsers to the latest available version.

    If it works in another browser, I suggest logging out of all accounts, clearing the original browser’s cache, then signing back in to see if that resolves the problem. Here are the instructions for how to clear your cache; we've included instructions for all popular browsers, so regardless of which browser you use, we've got you covered:

    Chrome
    Firefox
    Microsoft Edge

  • Yes, I did those things... See first post. 

    It is an issue with the Chrome browser and Insightly, but I can't seem to get it fixed. No other program/app is having problems. Only Insightly.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for giving that a try for me. There are a couple more steps I'd like to suggest before needing to escalate this issue. 

    Please try to add insightly.com and insight.ly as exceptions to see if that helps.

    • Go to Settings
    • Advanced Settings
    • Content Settings
    • Manage Exceptions for Cookies
    • Images and Javascript
    • Make sure to allow insightly.com and insight.ly for each setting.

    Lastly, I do have these questions for you:

    1. Do you have any extensions installed on Chrome by chance?
    2. If you do, would you be able to provide that list or screenshot?
    3. Have you tried to access Insightly in a private window that would disable the extensions?
