Email templates with gmail add on

I installed the new gmail add on and like it better than the old g suite tool, particularly that you can use e-mail templates to reply to e-mails. However, not all of my templates are available in the drop down list. The ones that are available are a mix of templates I use for both leads and contacts, are in various categories and I can't notice any pattern or similarities that would cause those to be available and not the other ones. I tried deleting a few old ones that I don't use anymore and it removes them from the list but doesn't populate new ones. Help!

    Please know that if the email templates in question are for Opportunities, projects, and tasks these are only available for Workflow Automation templates with Insightly Professional or Enterprise subscription plans. This means they are not usable when using the Insightly Add-On. 

    Opportunities, projects, and tasks can only be used for internal emails - you cannot send these to anyone outside of your team's Insightly account, such as your customers.

  • I figured it out, the templates that weren't available had attachments included with them. If they have attachments saved with the template in Insightly they won't populate the drop down list of available templates in the gmail add on.

    I'm glad you found the solution for this. I also double checked with my Insightly Senior Tech team and they informed me that you are correct. Email templates with attachments included with them won't show.
