How to capture Leads from a web form and send the data to Insightly CRM

I have just signed up for Insightly, after using Microsoft Dynamics for many years.

Currently, when a person completes our web form, the submitted details would be sent directly to Microsoft Dynamics and it would be registered in Microsoft Dynamics as a new lead, which then can be actioned by the relevant salesperson.

I would like to find out how we can do the same process with Insightly. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Loxley,

Welcome to Insightly! Melissa is correct on how to build the HTML form to connect to Insightly.

If you prefer a more stylized form or if you would like to use your existing form, I recommend using Zapier to connect your online form with your Insightly account.

  • Thanks, Melissa and Erin

Indeed, I am looking to use my existing forms as I do not want to redo these on my website and they look better than the insight.ly versions, so I will check out Zapier.

I hope it is not too technical to integrate the forms.

    Have a super fabulous day.

  • Hi Loxley,

I am confident you will find zapier to be a breeze when auto-creating leads. You may also want to check out zapier 'lead score' as step 2 before leads get to Insightly. Lead score will find related data about the lead on the web and make a more complete lead profile i.e. address, phone number, company attributes, etc.

    Thank you,

    Micah

I am trialling Zapier next week. I can't wait to see how it works.

    Wishing you a great day.
