How can I have 3 different forms on my website that create leads?

In my website I have the need for 3 different forms, all of which will collect first name, last name and email address, to create a Lead.

The different forms will each set a different lead source for the lead.

Is this possible in Insightly?  It seems its only possible to create 1 form for Leads.

Thanks.

  • Maybe try setting up a lead assignment rule:

    https://support.insight.ly/hc/en-us/articles/217095788-Setting-up-a-lead-assignment-rule

"Lead assignment rules automate the process of assigning leads as they are added to Insightly, making it easier on sales managers and teams to distribute leads evenly or according to specific criteria. "

    I couldn't say it better myself :)

  • Hi Paul,

There are a few options that you have here.

    1. Create a single form and include a lead source as one of the fields for them to select. If you do this, you will be able to use the Insightly HTML to create the form.

    2. Create as many forms as you wish using a form builder on your site. (Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms, Jot Form, etc.). You can pay an upgrade fee on most of these to have them sync to Insightly. You could also use Zapier to connect almost any form builder to Insightly.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions or need help implementing.

  • Thanks Melissa.  In my website, there needs to be 3 different forms, showing the lead 3 different messages, based on the links they clicked to arrive at this form.  In addition, each Lead needs to be identified with its Lead Source (which form are they using).  That identity must be determined in the client (my website), before they get to the server where lead assignment rules would apply.  It was a good idea though.

  • Erin, thank you.  I will look into the 2nd choice.  (1st doesn't work for my situation).
