Lead includes two people


I have a question about the situation when there are two people present for one lead. 

Imagine this situation: I initiated a contact with a person and he responded to me, but he isn't a decision maker. Later decision maker enters a conversation, but I still need to uncover their needs, budget, intents so I can convert the Lead into an Opportunity and start actual sales process. 

What is the best way to manage such situations in Insightly? Should I add second person as a Contact or as a separate Lead or just add it as a Note to the original Lead?

    Great question, you have identified a lot of options that will all work but it is a matter of preference. I personally would create another lead so that I can convert the lead into a contact when the opportunity is created.
