Updating Contact when Moving Companies

Hello, Completely new to Insightly. What is the best way to handle having a contact move to a new company? Do we move them to the new company or keep with old company and add them to the new company also?

  • I would say it really depends on whether you value the relationship with the organisation or whether it is just background. Personally I am always interested in seeing their history. It can lead to a better connection.

    That being said I would keep the link to the old organisation (we change the description to "former employee") and then link the new org as the primary.
