Combining contact and task reports

I have recently contacted support but was told that what I want is not currently possible.

This is what I asked for:

"I currently have a report called 'All Clients' which pulls through certain 'contact' fields. Is it possible to add a 'task' field to the report? What I want to ultimately build is a report that shows all types of clients that we have and to ensure they all have a certain task type linked to their record. "

 

I'm not sure if anyone else would find value in such a report? Also, if anyone knows how to merge some reports together to try and achieve this I'd be really grateful!

  • Hi, Have you tried a Contact Activity Report? 

    • Reports -> Contact Report -> Contact Activity Report

    You can also go from the Tasks side: 

    • Reports -> Task Reports -> Task Report & then add in a column for Linked Contacts

    Thanks for replying. I don't think that will work as I'm trying to find problem clients that do not have a task associated to them. I.e. I think those contacts that would pull through would have a task associated. Whereas I'm trying to see if there are any contacts that do not have a specific task linked.

    I hope that makes sense.
