ERROR - Cannot change User's preferred language

Hi guys,

For some of our accounts, we cannot change our preferred language. We tried the following:

  1. Go on User Details and Click "Edit User"
  2. Change Preferred Language from "English" to "German"
  3. Click Save User Details

On the User Page, it appears that the language is changed but when you go to another page, you see that the language is still English. Also, when you click on "Edit User" again, it shows that the Language has been switched back to English.

For some reason, this only happens for some of our accounts. Other team members could successfully change their language.

Please let me know if I can be of any other assistance.

Thanks!

Jonathan

  • Hey Jonathan Bernwieser,

Sorry to hear this is happening. Can you provide me with a user's name that you can confirm this is affecting? And, also do you know the type of browser that the user is using?

  • Hey Alejandro,

Thanks for the quick reply. One user name would be lang@agrando.de (user ID: 1724629). We experienced the same issues with User bajra@agrando.de (User ID: 1843530), hajrizi@agrando.de (user ID: 1819596) and zylfiu@agrando.de (User ID: 1852405).

We are all using the latest Chrome Browser Version 80.0.3987.87 (Official Build) (64-bit). We also made everyone log out and empty their cache.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if I can be of any other assistance.

    Thanks!

    Jonathan

  • Hey Jonathan Bernwieser,

Thanks for that information. I'll proceed to create a ticket now. In the ticket, I will CC the users and may need permission to test this. Please keep an eye out for this ticket.

  • Hi Alejandro,

in this case, please also include hoti@agrando.de (User ID: 1729786). She has an Admin account and is managing the accounts in our system. She will also be the (first) one granting you the required permission for testing.

    Best

    Jonathan
